PITCH & CONNECT EVENT | 16:45 - 19:00

This will be followed by a 2-hour exclusive Pitch & Connect event, hosted from San Francisco, by Michael Dooijes (Startup Liaison, CG SF) & Dorit Roest (Community manager Holland in the Valley). In two rounds, all the Academic Startups will have the opportunity to pitch their company to experts, potential mentors and representatives of the top-tier tech ecosystems in the US/globally.

1 MINUTE VIDEO PITCH MATCHMAKING

We will start with a compilation of all the 1 minute video pitches of the 10 participating Academic Startups. In an effort to efficiently match the startups to exactly the people that feel they can add value, we will add a playful Tinder-like element for them to swipe left or right - based on this brief first impression. The startups will receive a list of their 'matches' after the event.

3 MINUTE LIVE PITCH

Then each startup will have the opportunity to elaborate on that video by adding three minutes of 'live' pitching.

It's not a competition, but all participating mentors will grade each pitch with a live poll in the Zoom call. Grades will be given based on clarity, confidence and credibility.

5 MINUTE Q&A

The 3-minute pitch presentation is followed directly by questions and feedback from the mentor community. Because time is limited, we encourage the conversation to continue in the chat.
