In follow-up to the SXSW® conference, we have set up a program that will help accelerate their growth and impact in the Texas region.

SXSW

March 16-20, 2021

The virtual conference SXSW® in Austin, Texas. The South by Southwest® convention brings the film, music, and media industries together.

ONLINE PLATFORM

March 2021

The selected Dutch Startups get access to the online platform Holland in the Valley. On this platform, powered by Mentorjam, they can easily get in touch with the mentoring community from the Dutch Ecosystem in the Valley and all other tech hubs in the US.

After SXSW, the entrepreneurs will be automatically onboarded to the Founders Program, so they will continue to benefit from the Academy, events, and community.

PITCH TRAINING

April 9 - 16, 2021

The startups will complete a US pitch training from professional coach David Beckett, who will help them perfect their pitch to US-based audiences.

This consists of an online module that needs to be completed before we have our live Q&A session with David Beckett on Friday, April 9 at 09:30- 10:30 (CET). After that the entrepreneurs will receive a tailored individual 1-on-1 training in the week of April 12.

FINANCING & INVESTMENT

April 14, 2021

On April 14, the workshop ‘Sources of Financing and Investment’ will be organized by NBSO Texas, featuring our cohost Marc Nathan of T-Squared.

PITCH EVENT

April 28, 2021

There will be two rounds of pitching and feedback from six industry experts who will serve as judges. A wider group of seasoned ecosystem experts will also be able to engage and mentor in the Q&A and during the networking part that concludes the event.
