San Francisco is back in business. In the past 17 months we’ve connected over Zoom, through digital events and virtual happy hours. Now California has opened up, we would like to meet you in real life again.

We will kickoff with a 30-minute live talkshow from The Hague by Remy Gieling (Sprout Editor-in-Chief). He will have a talk with Constantijn Van Oranje-Nassau (Envoy at Techleap.nl) and leading Silicon Valley entrepreneurs. Consulate General of the Netherlands in San Francisco, Dirk Janssen, will officially open the Academic Startup Program.

This will be followed by a 2-hour exclusive Pitch & Connect event, hosted from San Francisco, by Michael Dooijes (Startup Liaison, CG SF) & Dorit Roest (Community manager Holland in the Valley). In two rounds, all the Academic Startups will have the opportunity to pitch their company to experts, potential mentors and representatives of the top-tier tech ecosystems in the US/globally.

16 Dutch startups are selected to an exclusive invite-only, Acceleration event on January 11 in the run-up to CES2021, hosted by the Consulate General in San Francisco.
