Fileboard Manages Attachments and Files on iPad

TechCrunch, one of today’s leading tech blogs, published a post yesterday about the launch of Fileboard. The blog writes that Fileboard is “a service which allows people to manage their attachments and files on the iPad. The startup says that today’s professionals have hundreds of files scattered over dozens of local and cloud-based platforms including Dropbox, gMail and others. Fileboard allows iPad users to manage email attachments and files in a single, unified view.”

The company was founded by Dutch entrepreneurs and is located in the Silicon Valley.

American VC Getting Involved with Fileboard

Well-known American venture capitalist Dave McClure, who is also behind the 500 Startups seed fund and startup accelerator, is investing in Dutch iPad app Fileboard.

Fileboard combines popular cloud based apps such as Evernote, Dropbox, and Google Docs in to one app. The app then is linked to Google Mail, which makes it possible to send messages with attachments from one or more of the cloud based apps, a major improvement for tablet computers such as Apple’s iPad.
